Program Overview

The Executive Diploma in Retail & Customer Relationship Management is validated by the Center for Vocational Education, Institute of Hospitality Management Ireland The program is a Competency based professional program where participants who complete the program could further into the Executive Bachelors offered by the School of Professional & Executive Education Asia E University Malaysia  

Program Objectives

  • Enable the participants to acquire skills in effective Retail Management
  • Enable the participants to acquire broad overall knowledge of the fundamentals and practice of customer Relationship Management
  • Acquisitions of the integrated Modules that will allow the individuals to pursue further vocational education without much difficulty

  1. Module 1: Customer Relationship Management
  2. Module 2: Customer Development
  3. Module 3: Consumer Marketing
  4. Module 4: Principles of Marketing
  5. Module 5: Principles of Sales
  6. Module 6: Principles of Retail Industry
  7. Module 7: Merchandising Management
  8. Module 8: Professional Selling
  9. Module 9: Distribution Management
  10. Module 10: Basic Accounting

Module Hours: Each Module is 16 hours
Practical Hours: 24 hours per week
Program Methodology: Participative lecturers / discussions, Case Studies & Presentation

Program Grading Method

  1. Quizzes – 10%
  2. Final Examination – 30%
  3. Practical Assessment – 50%
  4. Assignments – 20%

Program Tutors

All Modules will be taught and facilitated by very experience Resource personnel who have gained considerable experience in the Tourism & Hospitality Industry.

Program Highlights

Upon Completion of the programs students could;

  1. Undergo a One year (6 months theory : 6 months practical in Singapore) and awarded with the Advance Diploma
  2. One Month training and Industrial visit in UK
  3. IHMI Academy would seek 2 job interviews (Guaranteed Interview Sessions)
  4. Qualify for IHMI membership
  5. 6 months Internship in the Maldives (Availability of training slots)

Program Admission Requirements
 

  1. Completed SPM or O Levels with 2 credits
  2. Must have one year working experience in the Hospitality Industry
