IHMI was incorporated to meet the strategic demands of the development of Human Capital and Talent Development for the Tourism, Hospitality, and Food Service Industry, which includes the provision of Educational Programs, Professional Programs, Vocational Programs and In House Consultancy Services and Training.


IHMI strongly believes in developing partnership in provision of its services and believes that an organization would only be successful with the right cementation of building blocks of sound educational and training programs.


IHMI is a nonprofit organization and as been established since 1896. Its reason for being is to build outstanding individuals for the Tourism Industry.


IHMI comprises of 2000 membership across the globe and operates nationwide offices through 3 regional offices namely in Africa, Asia Pacific and Europe / America  which provides a wide range of membership services, learning programs, vocational programs and professional qualifications.
