Prof Dr Profulla Chandra Sarker

Prof Dr Profulla C Sarker is the Vice-Chancellor of Prime University, Dhaka, Bangladesh since April 2011. Former Professor in the Department of Social Work, University of Rajshahi and adjunct Professor of BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Senior Policy Advisor of National Food Security and Surveillance Project in 2009-2010, James P. Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University-Helen Keller International, Bangladesh. The project is funded by European Commission.

Former Professor of Social Work and Social Administration and Director for the Institute of Cross-Cultural Studies from 2006 to 2009, Acting Dean of the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences from 2007 to 2008, Chairman of Research Coordination Committee from 2008 to 2009, Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University, United International College (UIC), Zhuhai, China. Former Professor of Social Work from 1993 to 2006 and Chairman Department of Social Work, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh since 1991 to 1993, Associate of Social Work from 1988 to 1993, Asst. Professor of Social Work from 1978 to1988, lecture in Social Work from 1977 to 1978 of the same University and research Fellow from 1974 to 19777 of the Institute of Bangladesh Studies, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

Prof Dr J Ronnie Davis

At UNO since 1989 Dr. Davis has been a faculty member at Iowa State University and the University of Florida and was also a business Dean at three universities, Western Washington University, University of South Alabama, and the University of New Orleans.

Since 1981, he is Editor of Public Finance Quarterly (renamed Public Finance Review in 1997). Dr Davis is widely published in journals such as American Economic Review, Economic Journal, Southern Economic Journal, Economic Inquiry, Public Choice, History of Political Economy, International Trade Journal, and American Political Science Review. His research interests are public finance, history of economic theory, and managerial economics. He won the Excellence in Teaching Award by the first class (1996-1999) of the UNO Executive MBA.
